Ford saw fit to give the new Explorer a styling rework along with some new tech for the new model year.

Red Lake Indian Reservation customers will now find four trims are offered for the 2025 Explorer. These include the Active, ST-Line, ST, and Platinum.



Active: This entry model, which rides on 18-inch wheels, is very well-equipped. It offers a power liftgate, Class III trailer hitch, heated, power-adjustable front seats, and a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Google-based navigation and integrated voice commands.

ST-Line: This sportier-looking trim rides on 20-inch wheels and offers black synthetic leather upholstery, a 10-speaker B&O sound system, and a slew of new safety features.

ST: Is installed with the 400-hp engine along with all the ST-Line's upgrades. There are also new features like 21-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row captain's chairs, and a 14-speaker B&O sound system.

Platinum: The highest trim is less expensive than the ST but more luxurious. There's a twin-panel sunroof, adaptive headlights, and leather upholstery with synthetic suede inserts. The Platinum includes all of the Active's standard equipment and everything from the ST-Line Premium package. The Premium package includes features like massaging front seats, ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger.
