New Ford Bronco Sport Model Review

New 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Model Review

The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport can give you enough off-roading capability to satisfy your hunger for fun in the great outdoors. It's capable of taking you further off the beaten path than most compact SUVs you can buy. At the top of the food chain is the rough-riding Badlands trim that offers the most off-road capability thanks to a muscular turbo-four engine along with a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system. Here's a closer look at the new Ford Bronco Sport that's ready for your review at Bob Lowth Ford in Bemidji, MN.

Performance

The entry-level engine in the new Ford Bronco sport is a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder and you can move up to a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Both options run with an eight-speed automatic and the bigger engine can give you paddle-shifters mounted on the steering wheel. If you go with the Badlands trim, you'll get a twin-clutch rear-wheel drive system with a differential lock. The Badlands also comes with all-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels and a 1.0-inch suspension lift for extra ground clearance.

Technology and Safety Features

Every version of the new 2024 Ford Bronco Sport comes with an 8.0-inch touch screen as part of Ford's SYNC®3 software. The Bronco Sport has standard smartphone connectivity for both Apple and Android and you can add available satellite radio and a premium Bang & Olufsen stereo. Standard safety features include a rearview camera, automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Exterior

For 2024, the Ford Bronco Sport gives you a choice of standard 7.8-inch ground clearance or an available 8.8 inches of ground clearance when it's equipped with off-road tires. Other practical exterior features in the new Bronco Sport include a unique roof rack, an available safari-style roof and optional tow hooks.
